Guardian Forces - Events

I will put down here, in order of occurrence... the recent events I know of that involve Guardian Forces.

1. Eden attaches herself to me, unknown to myself, and I carry her gemstone around with me for years, unknowingly, finally coming to Balamb Garden.

2. Concurrently, apparently... the furre Berran spends much of his life researching and trying to find Guardian Forces.

3. Crayle, about which little is still known, comes into contact with Berran and somehow helps the now old man to discover that I hold Eden's Gemstone in my possession. (note: I wish I knew how they discovered this when I didn't even know myself that I carried it.)

4. Crayle and his gang storm the Garden and accost me in my office where I was holding a session with a student, Lynalei. Their intent was to steal Eden's gemstone from me. Complications ensued when I didn't understand what they were asking for. From the video captured by the Garden's security cameras, it would appear that Lynalei summoned Eden to attack them after I passed out, but was killed before she could summon Eden a second time.

5. Crayle finds the gemstone for the GF, Diablos. We are almost certain that he used Eden's gemstone to do this.

6. Eden's gemstone was recovered when Pyrus and Lance covertly entered Crayle's hideout while he wasn't present.

7. Parts of Timber were destroyed by something very powerful... could this have been the work of Crayle summoning Diablos?

8. I begin meditating with Eden's recovered gem. Upon returning it to my possession, Pyrus and I note that the Gem glows subtly when in my possession but not for anyone else. We take it for a sign that I am her chosen wielder.

9. Pyrus' wife and children disappear. Reports say they were destroyed by... what would appear to be a Guardian Force.

10. Crayle shows up at a local fighting tournament in which several Garden members were participating. Pyrus recognizes him first, and I recognized him second. Battle ensued. Fortunately.. no bystanders were injured. Crayle was finally defeated by Pyrus himself, after Pyrus transformed into a Black Dragon.

11. Diablos' gemstone is recovered from Crayle's body, and brought to me by Pyrus. I begin trying to meditate with both Eden and Diablos' gemstones to see if I can somehow communicate with Diablos through Eden.

12. Lorelai and Truven run into an almost helpless being out in the wastelands to the east of Timber. Lorelai Fetches me. I am... uncertain as to the details still, but from what I can determine... The GF Ark had somehow become trapped in this dimension. His gemstone had been shattered, and he was apparently unable to return to his own dimension. When I arrived on the scene, Eden took over. I am theorizing that she opened a portal for him. It is certain that he disappeared. Afterwards, his gemstone also appeared to recover itself and is now whole and functional.

13. Pyrus believes that the GF Ark is the one that killed his family. I am unsure, and so I take all three gemstones to meditate with, in the hopes of finding the truth.

14. After many many hours of meditation... over the course of days and weeks.. I am now fairly certain that Ark did NOT kill Pyrus' family. In fact.. I rather think that they aren't truly dead at all. I had somewhat more success in trying to communicate with Ark than I have had with Diablos. The feelings that I get from him would seem to indicate that he was summoned by someone simply to destroy a patch of land. Unfortunately, there happened to be furres on that patch of land, out of sight of the summoner. When Ark realized this, he apparently fought the will of the summoner and tried to halt the destructive attack. All that I can sense of Pyrus family is that Ark... moved them. I was unable to discern WHERE they have been moved to or why they cannot be moved back. It is my theory that Ark has chosen Pyrus to bond to because Ark feels a failure at being unable to bring his wife and children back to him. However, this is not confirmed.. it is merely my theory.

15. I have given Ark's gemstone back to Pyrus. Ark no longer responds to me at all, and I can gain no further information from him. Confirming my idea that Pyrus was the one Ark had chosen, the gemstone began glowing subtly as soon as I gave it back to Pyrus.
